More about me

I've been working on the web since 1996 when I managed, via a combination of being in the right place at the right time and turning up the "don'tgiveafuckotron" to max, to work my way on to the pioneering online editorial team at the Electronic Telegraph (now better known as Telegraph.co.uk).

Since then I've worked for a small start-up social network called Dobedo during the first dotcom boom, I've freelanced as a writer and editor with the web as my specialist subject, I've been a corporate communicator in the Home Office and most recently I've led a team of journalists, editors and content strategists as the Content Director at iCrossing UK.

Now I'm just plain old me, working one to one with a range of clients (individuals and big organisations) to help them to understand how content works on the web, plan to generate the most effective content that they can, and to produce content that knocks people's socks off.

I'm opinionated, I swear quite a lot, and I try to point out bullshit when I sniff it. But I am a nice person, who believes in doing things right, and I also know a fair bit about the web. I work hard and smart for my clients. You can find out more about them and what they think of me on my LinkedIn Page here: http://uk.linkedin.com/in/tamsinbishton.

So what sorts of things do I do? And what could I maybe do for you? You can get more information on the Things I do page.
